WiBA-Net is a nationwide multimedia learning network for the subject of “Materials in the Building Trade” within the framework of the civil engineer or architect training. Both individual knowledge elements and courses, training courses and educational trails consisting of combined elements are offered.
In its complexity and its extent, it is unique, because, being the only known knowledge network, it includes the comprehensive university material science for civil engineer and architecture students. Additionally, its design is such that an optimum private study is possible. “Blended Learning” is the name of the interactively supported teaching models that use the individual study and the supervised lecture-based study together to achieve an optimum learning success.
