Poster of the course Constructive Design

This course is structured into a series of lectures and subsequent, supervised exercises. The focus is on constructive and creative working through related projects (e.g. light filigree and sensitive structures, optimized material usage and others). Three supervised exercises are processed (each of 4-6 weeks) and finally concluded with a presentation. The course scope includes (depending on the exercise principle) constructive and structural analyses; plan presentations and the building of models. Interdisciplinary techniques will be applied.

The course is classified for students of the Master program Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from their first semester or later. To participate, we recommend previous experience in “Building Construction” or “Basics of Building Construction”.

Further information about the lecture can be found on the digital poster or you may contact us directly.
